TAYAL SPA (The Algerian for Textile Industries)

Project : A joint venture founded through an Algerian-Turkish partnership. TAYAL SPA operates in the textile industry and counts more than 3 500 employees. At its full capacity, TAYAL SPA plans to reach 10 000 employees.

COMPENSATION MANAGER

I manage a team of HR Specialists. My main responsibilities revolve around:

• Guaranteeing the proper running of the payroll process in accordance with the Algerian regulations;
• Ensuring a continuous coordination with the various departments;
• Advising the management in terms of HR matters;
• Participating in collective negotiations and conflict resolutions.

Besides:

• I represent my department during the various audits:
  • Social audits made by major brands such as Decathlon, Okaidi, Levi’s, Kontoor, Inditex …
  • Financial audits, ISO certifications, government inspections …
• I guarantee a constant monitoring of the wage bill while advising the management as regards its potential ways of optimization;
• I prepare and monitor the HR budget;
• I am a member of several committees, including but not limited to:
  • Committee in charge of monitoring the company’s compliance with the requirements of the international brands;
  • Committee in charge of monitoring the compliance with Law 18-07.

Main projects:

• I have drafted and implemented multiple procedures;
• I acted as a core user during the development and implementation of the payroll module of our HRIS;

I have participated in the study and implementation of the 24/7 work system inside the production units.

Project: Construction of an electrified double truck railway line (20 km) connecting Birtouta to Zeralda in the Wilaya of Algiers.  

DEPUTY HEAD OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT (11/2012 to 04/2018)

My main responsibilities revolved around:

Administrative:

• Implementing the full recruitment process i.e. from the prospection of candidates to their installation;
• Preparing and following-up of the employees' work contracts;
• Monitoring the application of the labour regulations inside the company while advising the management in this regard;
• Coordinating with third parties such the legal office, CACOBATPH, CNAS, Labour Inspection, ANEM ...

Other:

• Preparing and following-up the HR reporting and statistics; 
• Participating in the collective negotiations and conflict resolutions;

Assisting and supervising the payroll process.

Project : Construction of the eastern section of the East West Motorway – 400km

TRANSLATOR AND DOCUMENT CONTROLLER  (05/2007 to 07/2011)

• Translate the technical documents; 
• Interpret between the Algerian and Japanese staffs;
• Manage and follow-up the documents before and after their submission; 
• Coordinate between the various departments in terms of document control;
• Save and update the documentation through the online collaboration system “Aconex”.
