From Dec 2017 to Mar 2022: HSE Engineer at Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd in the Project of the Construction of a 1,400 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Jijel, Algeria 

Duties and Tasks: 

 Conducting site safety inspection to ensure strict implementation of HSE Standards.

 Close monitoring of project construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities. Identifying hazards, proposing mitigating measures, and follow-up on corrective and preventive actions. 

 Supported and assisted The HSE manager to ensure compliance with local national Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations. 

 Maintaining and ensuring the implementation of different HSE Procedures including fall protection, Fire safety, Lock Out/ Tag-out (LOTO), Confined spaces entry, lifting.., etc. 

 Participated in, documented, and reported accidents and incidents investigations including near misses. 

 Liaising and coordinating with Client, Subcontractors, and relevant parties, for all safety-related matters including Audits, meetings, SIMOPS Activities Assessment & Mitigation, PTW Coordination, etc… 

 Preparing and participating in Emergency Evacuation drills. 

 Developed and provided different HSE training, and new hire safety orientation for all employees.
