About the Role: Video Editor

The ideal candidate should possess a mastery of various editing techniques, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the Snapchat platform. From colorimetry to sound design, this individual will be responsible for crafting engaging and immersive content that meets the highest standards of quality and creativity. Topics to edit about include gossip (celebrities) and true crime (gruesome crimes), please consider this when you apply.

Responsibilities:

• Mastery of editing techniques such as colorimetry, zooms in/out, jump cuts, transitions, split screens, cutaways, etc.
• Adopt a creative approach while adhering to Snapchat expectations and standards.
• B-Roll sourcing and integration of additional relevant content.
• Creation and use of MOGRTS (animated graphic models).
• Audio optimization, sound design, and music selection for a captivating viewer experience.
• Synchronize the sound and image if needed
• Edit (intro, title, outro) following the graphic charter
• Create dynamic videos for Facebook and Snapchat
• Adding editorial understanding to the production of each video
• Finding the most effective ways to adapt content from YouTube to Facebook and Snapchat
• Export the videos in the right format
• Create animated content by incorporating video skinning, music, texts, and MOGRTs

A little about you:

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro

After Effects would be a plus

Previous experience in Snapchat content creation/editing is preferred.

Attention to detail in content selection and storytelling.

Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.

Fluent in French and English communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• USD$800/ month paid biweekly on the 15th and 30th of the month following the provision of the services.
